Dear Tom,

How are you doing ? Finally I've booked my ticket to New Zealand. Can't wait! I'm busy planning, but I have a few favours to ask you.

First, can I stay in your house ? If I can't, no problem. I will stay in a cheap hotel. And when I arrive, can you meet me at the airport or do you prefer me to get a taxi ?

I also want to know what places are we going to visit ? Are the places fun ? Do you have any good sites I should looked ? And the people, are they polite or rude ? I saw in a newspaper that the Global Warming doesn't stop New Zealand will from sinking, is it true ?

Finally, the weather in New Zealand is good, but I'm very worried about my clothes. I bought a lot of cold clothes. But I won't get crazy.

Crocodile Monster

One evening, James was driving on a road when his car broke down. When James opened the door of the car, the same door slammed. The wind was blowing when his wife gasped in fear, because she saw a big and iluminated in the space.

James was calling an attendant, but nobody answered. So he decided to go on some meters to searchfor help. When they were walking, his wife took a deep breath and told whole to her husband. James didn't believe and continued his trip.

Some minutes after, James tried again his last call and this time someone answered. The woman said that a rescue would come by the next day.

In front of them, there was a big crocodile monster and the woman screamed.

_ I've warned you about the iluminated ball and now there is a big crocodile in front of us, wanting to dine us.

The big crocodile monster got closer and ate the two scaried adults.

Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone

Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone is a novel written in 1997 by Joan K. Rowling. I reakon, this film is one of the best fantasy adventure I've seen.

In this lovely film, adapted the magic best-seller by J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter discovers, on his 11º birthday that he is orphan of two powerful warlock and he has magic powers. In School of Witchcraft and Wizardry of Hogwarts, Harry goes on board of the greatest adventure of his life time. He learns how to play Quidditch, participates in an exciting match of chess with live parts and faces the dark wizard.

Directed by Crhis Columbus, an american film director, producer and screen writer, the first film of Harry Potter had a brilliant cast, the lead actor is Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and, in my view, his acting is excellent. In the film his friends are Hermone Granger (Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint). The especial effects are awesome. And the soundtrack is very effective.

For the most extraordinary adventure, I wait for you in the Platform 9 3/4.

Maracanã

One of the best places in Rio is Maracanã, a beautiful and famous football stadium. In my opinion Maracanã is the most famous stadium in Brazil. It has a really noisy atmosphere, but the emotion is worth any noise.

There are a lot of fanatic fans for soccer. The best soccer match is Fla x Flu. I have never gone to see this game in Maracanã, but I don't miss one. In Rio there are two main football teams: Botafogo e Vasco. The best team is Flamengo, it won six brazilian's championchips.

The food in Maracanã is absolutely delicious, my favourite is hot dog with french fries and a soda. But it is very greasy and sometimes I take my own snack: sandwich, white cheese, lettuce, tomato, turkey chest, olive oil, shoyu and garlic sauce. It's so healthy.

I intend to go back there as soon as I can. Maybe tomorrow I will, because there is a good match: Flamengo x São Paulo.

Hello. I'm João Guilherme, but people call me João. I'm thirteen and I live in Rio de Janeiro. I don't have siblings. I'm very sociable, polite and responsible. My favourite bands are Kiss and The Beatles, the bands are very good. In my free time I used to go out to the cinema or the theater. Sometimes I go to parties. I love sports, now I'm practicing tennis, judo, volleyball and boxing. Tennis is more fantastic than judo, but tennis is as fun as boxing.
I never used to be very good at Spanish, I think this year will be more difficult, but I won't get crazy. I've also realised how important it is for my future.
I'm joining on this site because I want to met other friends who are similar for my profile.

ME! ME! ME!

Hello! I'm Tiago Goulart. I'm 25 years old, and I am from São Gonçalo - RJ. I live there with my wife and no kids, yet! :-P I love music, and I learned how to play the guitar when I was 12. Since then, I never stopped! I like MPB, and a little bit of rock, but I don't have a favourite singer or band. I'm a little bit shy when I meet new people, but after some minutes talking, you can be one of my best friends! :-) Sports? On tv, preferably! :-P And my favourite one is F-1!

I started studying English 18 years ago (OMG! I was only seven years old!) and never stopped! Now, I'm an English teacher and I like it a lot! I always knew English would be important for my future, as mum and dad always said, but becoming a teacher surely was something special to me.

I love to surf the web, and this blog can be a very good way for me to meet interesting people, share ideas, and talk about our lives. I hope I can! I like easy-going people, with a good sense of humor. :-)
